NOTE: With the arrival of the Gator Book Pack this Fall, LSCO’s Bookstore will become 100% virtual! Starting July 15th, all purchases and returns will take place online.

We want you to have all of the information you need on this change as the Bookstore on campus closes its physical storefront.

What does this mean if you’re a Summer Student?

Summer I Students:
Students who took Summer I classes need to return any books to the LSCO Bookstore ON CAMPUS by July 13th at 3pm, when the physical bookstore will close. If you do not return your books before that time, you will need to ship them back at your own expense or bring them to the Lamar University Bookstore in Beaumont.

Summer II Students:

If you’re enrolled in Summer II classes and still need to take care of your book needs, we recommend that you do that now before the physical bookstore closes on July 13th at 3pm. The virtual bookstore will then open July 15th.

What does this mean if you’re a Fall Student?

You will receive an email detailing exactly how you can order or access your Gator Book Pack Textbook Rentals, LSCO’s new textbook rental program, on July 19th. The new virtual bookstore, run by Barnes and Noble, will send this message to students’ LSCO email addresses. Fall students will be able to order their books online and have them shipped for FREE to their home, or will be able to pick up their books at the Lamar University Bookstore in Beaumont.

The virtual bookstore will remain at this URL and will be “open” 24/7 online!:

The LSCO Bookstore is now accessible online.

Ninety days prior to each semester, textbook orders are submitted to the bookstore by LSCO faculty. The type of printed course materials, the edition needed, and the number required for each class is the decision of full-time faculty.

We have all "required" and "optional" course materials available online. Used course materials are available while supplies last. For your convenience, we offer in-store (Lamar University in Beaumont) and online sales.

We stock a full line of supplies to meet your academic needs. It is our goal to have the best selection at the best prices; however, if you require materials not currently available in our store, please speak with our dedicated staff and request a special order ( or 409-880-8342).

A selection of the most popular software is available for our students, staff and faculty at a special academic price. Please note: when ordering software on-line, we require your social security number to verify that you are a current student. This is a stipulation for receiving academic pricing.

Prices subject to change on all merchandise without prior notice.
