  • Current high school student working towards college credit (Dual Credit)
  • Previously a LSCO dual credit student, recently graduated from high school
  • High school graduate, new to college
  • GED graduate, new to college
  • Transfer from college or university with less than 18 hours of college credit
  • Transfer from college or university with 18 hours or more college credit
  • International Student
  • Returning Student (previously attended LSCO)
  • Visiting Student (someone who is enrolled at one college or university but temporarily takes courses at another institution with the intention of transferring those credits back to their home college.)
  • Workforce/Continuing Education Applicant (non-academic)

If you are not a current high school student working towards college credit, you will be asked to choose your desired location based on where you live.

  • MAIN Lamar State College Orange is located in Orange, Texas. Students that live near LSCO’s main campus should choose this site.
  • LSCO at Polk County Center is located in Livingston, Texas. Students that live in or around the Livingston area should choose this site.
  • LSCO at TXST is located in San Marcos, Texas on the Texas State University campus. Students that live in or around the San Marcos area should choose this site.

International students, students registering for online courses only, or visiting/transient students should choose LSCO’s main campus.

You will receive a confirmation email. Our admissions team will review your application within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Once accepted, you will receive two to three emails:

  1. Congratulations! You have been accepted to Lamar State College Orange
  2. LSCO Computer Account Information
  3. Missing Required Admission Documents (if applicable)
