Transient (Visiting) Students
What is a Transient (Visiting) student?
You are considered a Transient (Visiting) student if you are attending another institution of higher education but wish to enroll in courses at LSCO on a temporary basis as a non-degree seeker with the intent of returning to your home institution. Transfer coursework is only evaluated for degree-seeking students. Meet with an academic advisor at your home institution to ensure the course you are interested in taking will transfer and is needed for your degree plan.
You are considered a Visiting student if you wish to enroll in a course for the purpose of taking prerequisite courses and not seeking a degree at LSCO or if you have already earned a degree at LSCO and want to take courses for personal enrichment purposes or to improve a grade.
Are Transient (Visiting) students eligible for Financial Aid?
Transient (Visiting) students are not eligible for Financial Aid at LSCO. Please check with your home institution for information on eligibility.
