Logistics Management
The Logistics Management Program prepares graduates to perform supervisory roles in operations and services industries overseeing activities that include purchasing, transportation inventory management, and warehousing. This program is designed to prepare students for employment or advancement in the Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, and Maritime career field. Graduates will have the essential skills to be successful entry-level or mid-level employees at many related industry locations, including local ports. With added experience, they will be excellent candidates for higher-level technical and supervisory positions within the industry.
Courses will be taught in Business Logistics and Material Handling, Warehouse Distribution Management, Information and Project Management, and Domestic and International Transportation.
The Associate of Applied Science in Logistics Management (Maritime) incorporates LSCO’s Maritime Ordinary Seaman I certificate; CDL Truck Driving Courses, and business management courses. All courses related to logistics and business are offered online requiring travel to campus for CDL and Maritime courses.
