Academic Core Transfer

LSCO participates in the Texas Common Course Numbering System (TCCNS), making it easy to transfer your credits to Texas State and other four-year universities across the state. Whether you're completing core coursework, earning a certificate, or finishing an Associate of Applied Science degree, your LSCO education is designed to move with you.

Start at LSCO and take advantage of affordable tuition, small class sizes, and personalized support — then transfer to Texas State when you're ready to pursue your bachelor's degree.

LSCO x TXST Gateway Program

The Gateway Program is a co-enrollment opportunity that lets you begin your college journey on the Texas State San Marcos campus while completing coursework at both TXST and LSCO. You'll enjoy full student privileges at both schools, save approximately $6,600 in your first year, and earn guaranteed admission to Texas State — no reapplication needed.

Gateway students take a mix of TXST and LSCO courses on the San Marcos campus over two semesters (fall and spring), then transition into full Texas State enrollment the next year. It's the perfect option for students who want the four-year university experience from day one while keeping costs manageable.
