Massage Therapy
The Massage Therapy program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary to take the state examination to become registered under the Texas Department of Health as a licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Massage Therapists help clients overcome injury, relieve stress, and generally live healthier lives.
Students complete a 50-hour internship along with their classroom instruction, allowing them to practice their skills by giving massages to members of the community. LSCO’s Massage Therapy program distinguishes itself from other programs by including additional coursework hours beyond the state-required 500 clock hours.
