Jennifer Fabriguze, Pharmacy Technology program director and instructor at Lamar State College Orange, has a wealth of knowledge in the pharmacy industry. With a background ranging from retail to hospital pharmacy, she uses her industry expertise to inspire and educate her students.
As an LSCO alumna herself, Fabriguze earned an Associate of Applied Science in Pharmacy Technology and a Business Management and Pharmacy Technology Certificate. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership at Sul Ross State University.
Fabriguze has worked in the pharmacy field for approximately 20 years. She has served in various roles throughout her career, working primarily in hospitals across Southeast Texas. She realized her passion for teaching when she began helping coworkers study for national pharmacy technician certification exams. She was excited to land a position at her alma mater in pursuit of a career in education.
As an instructor, Fabriguze prefers to maintain a high level of structure and organization. Her class material is vast with the hope of giving every student with unique learning styles a chance to succeed. She is committed to promoting independence and hard work in her classrooms, skills that she hopes will stick with her students far beyond their educational careers.
"I try to make sure my class is structured and organized," Fabriguze said. "I also like to have a mixture of class material to reach both hands-on and auditory learners. Everyone learns differently, and I want to equip them with the material needed to succeed."
Fabriguze was born and raised in Lumberton, where she currently resides. She has connections to both the Lumberton and Orange areas, as she is a graduate of both Lumberton High School and LSCO. She enjoys maintaining involvement within the community.
Outside of her professional life, Fabriguze enjoys watching her kids play soccer, going on walks, taking trips around the state and learning about Texas history. She also likes cooking and baking recipes for her family to enjoy.
