At the Brown Estate we know that a special occasion should surpass simply being “special.” It should be memorable, exciting, and most importantly, easy and enjoyable. The Brown Estate can cater every detail to your desire, from food to seating, décor to scenery.

Rental Fees

Use of the Solarium for Luncheon or Dinner……………………..$1,000.00 per function
Use of the Solarium for Shower…………………………………………$500.00 per function
Use of the Dining Room for Luncheon or Dinner……………….$350.00 per function

The following items are included in the rental fees to help create a truly memorable occasion:

Use of the house and grounds for photographs
Seating for 150 guests when held in the Solarium
Chairs, tables and elegant table linens in white or ivory
Catering options are available for an additional fee:
Selection of Seven Hors d’Oeuvres or Buffet Stations
(Minimum 50 guests/Maximum 300 guests)
or
Selection of Dinner Buffet
(Minimum 50 guests/Maximum 100 guests)

Should you have any special requirements, please ask. Our staff will be happy to assist you in your selections. Food, bar, rental equipment, and labor fees are exclusive of the Brown Estate rental fee.

Bar Fees

The Brown Estate is a state institution and does not hold a liquor license. However, we will be happy to serve your favorite beverages provided by you, when accompanied by brunch, lunch, hors d’oeuvres or dinner.

Punch Bar..........................................................................................$125.00 per bar

Soft Drink Bar.................................................................................$3.00 per person
Includes linens, five flavors, glasses, snacks, setup and cleanup

Wine, Beer, Champagne or Margarita Machine Bar...................$200.00 per bar
Includes linens, glasses, snacks, setup and cleanup (50-150 guests)

Guests provide alcoholic beverages........................................ $300.00 per bar
(151-300 guests)

Margarita machine rental available for an addition fee.......................$150.00
Margarita Mix- 60 drinks per batch...................................$40.00 per batch

Open Bar...............................................................................$5.00 per person
Includes linens, glasses, snacks, mixers, soft drinks, setup and cleanup

Labor Services

A 20 percent service charge will be added to all prices, excluding sales tax. A labor charge of $25.00 will be assessed for all groups of 25 guests or less.
