Fishing Club

Lamar State College Orange is proud to announce the addition of a fishing club to our campus’ student organizations. With LSCO’s proximity to multiple bodies of water, a fishing club is an excellent way for students to earn a college education while also being on the water.

Fishing Club members will travel to tournaments across the state and nation.

Eligibility Requirements

Members of the Lamar State College Orange Fishing Club are expected to:

• be in good standing
• maintain a GPA above a 2.0
• be enrolled in at least 12 hours (full-time) of coursework

These requirements are consistent with the requirements of B.A.S.S, FLW, and the ACA (BoatUS).
