Academic Affairs

The Academic Affairs division at LSC-O includes all instructional departments, continuing and workforce education, the Learning Center, the Library, the Computer Center, office of Institutional Research, and the office of Institutional Effectiveness.

Purpose Statement:
The mission of the Academic Affairs Office is to provide leadership and administrative direction for delivering associate degree, academic transfer, and technical certificate curricula, continuing and workforce education, distinguished by meaningful learning opportunities, effective teaching, and valuable academic support services for students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Institutional Mission Reference:
The Academic Affairs Office supports LSC-O's mission by overseeing the administrative processes which enhance student learning and success in their educational pursuits to attend senior colleges and universities, prepare students for employment, and foster continuing education and customized training programs for those pursuing areas of personal interest or upgrading employment skills.
