ASSET
ASSET is an approved alternative placement test to THEA and the preferred placement test at Lamar State College-Orange. Entering LSC-O students who are not otherwise exempt must take the ASSET or COMPASS prior to registration. ASSET may be used for initial placement as well as retesting.

1. Call the Testing Office to schedule the test, (409) 882-3330 or Register in the Testing Office, room 104 of the Ron E. Lewis Library Building. |
| 2. Remit $25 testing fee to the cashier (receipt does not guarantee testing; must pre-register by telephone or in person.) NO WALK-INS ALLOWED. The cashier is located on the third floor of the library. |

| 1. Arrive at the Testing Center 10 minutes before test time. Latecomers will not be admitted to test. |
