The Learning Center is located in room 113 of the Ron E. Lewis Library building, across the foyer from the Lewis Library. Staff at the Learning Center would like to introduce our many services to you. Appointments are available but are not required. Hours are the same as the Lewis Library. Please bring your LSC-O ID (or your Lamar-Pt. Arthur, LIT, or Lamar-Beaumont ID) and a copy of your assignment if you need help.
Individualized tutoring is available in writing, math, reading, history, government, computer science, and other subjects requested by our students. Below is a list of the many areas where we can assist students:
Computer Lab:
- Up-to-date computers and printers, including a color printer, image scanners, and CD burners.
- Internet access, MS Office Suite, MS Works, and Corel Office Suite, plus other software required for various LSC-O courses.
- Friendly, helpful assistance with any of your assignments using computers.
